Businesspeople Ask Romanian Authorities To Set Up Plan To Alleviate Financial Crisis Impact

The Romanian Businesspeople Association (AOAR) suggests authorities to enable 5% VAT reduction for buying the first house, a minimum 100% increase of the volume of road infrastructure works, financial insurance and stimulatory payment for work force, to alleviate the impact of the economic crisis. Businesspeople want the drawing up of an emergency plan to be approved by the Parliament in October, similar to those in the United States, Germany and France, to reduce effects caused by the international financial crisis, the association wrote in a letter sent to the Parliament and to the Government."Romania is obligated to adopt measures leading to the alleviation of the negative impact generated by the global economic situation, as the country is dealing with slowdown in economic growth, especially in the industrial sector,” the letter read.Businesspeople showed European and American authorities adopted measures to support the business environment.
