Conducted by Ukrainian Hi-Tech Initiative, the Central & Eastern Europe IT Outsourcing Review 2007 took into account data from IT companies in 16 countries and suggested the region had reached levels of IT outsourcing industry development similar to India, China and Russia.
The survey found that the countries leading in market value are Poland, Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic and Estonia, according to PR Web.
According to the news provider, Victor Maznyuk, president of Ukrainian Hi-Tech Initiative, said that he hoped the research would be of benefit to small and medium-sized business enterprises and enable them to better select their IT services providers.
