QPC, which helps leading companies like Vodafone and Barclays improve their business performance through outsourcing, has said that firms may outsource parts of their business such as marketing strategies to deal with the overload of work during the festive period.
Martin Blacher, director of marketing for QPC, said: "Seasonal trends like Christmas can be one time when businesses look to outsource, although it depends on the product or service that customer service is being outsourced for.
"Other typical factors include marketing campaigns, rapid growth, mitigation of risk and financial factors such as the need to move from capital expenditure to operational expenditure."
