Welcome to this IBITS conference, which offers an interesting programme.
The programme has been devised to show the challenges we are facing.
We already know some of these challenges: Globalisation, outsourcing, IT technology in all areas of our lives, as well as the growth but lack of organising within business services. And then we have the new generations.
At IBITS, we have taken steps to address these challenges.
We have handled the challenge of offshoring in two specific ways:
The MOOS project – with EU support to map offshore outsourcing and develop tools for this area.
