Eight Teams Begin Beef-Industry-Career-Exploration Experiences

Eight high school students have been paired with professionals in the ag lending, agri-media, graphic design, ranch supply, sire procurement and veterinary medical fields as members of the 2007 North Dakota Stockmen’s Association (NDSA) Mentoring Program class.

They’ll spend the next six months learning about the careers and determining whether the jobs are their vocations with the help of their mentors.

Teams include the following: Protégé Emily Coleman of Bismarck, N.D., and Mentor Dr. Shawna Rice of Bismarck, N.D.; Protégé Darcie Dewald of Steele, N.D., and Mentor Linda Rudolph of Steele, N.D.; Protégé Brandi Enzminger of Tappen, N.D., and Mentor Tracey Koester of Steele, N.D.; Protégé Jessica Hauge of Carson, N.D., and Mentor Terry Robinson of Bismarck, N.D.; Protégé Joy Hurt of South Heart, N.D., and Mentor Dr. J.D. Rowe of Dickinson, N.D.; Protégé Stacy Jangula of Baldwin, N.D., and Mentor Don Gross of Mandan, N.D.; Protégé James Kapp of Steele, N.D., and Mentor Dr. Troy Dutton of Steele, N.D.; and Protégé Kyle Wells of Carson, N.D., and Mentor Chad Ellingson of St. Anthony, N.D.
