The companyes target for this year is to achieve an 11 million-euro turnover. "The first extensive project this year is the inauguration, in March, of the tenth lab in Timisoara, located at an independent facility. The investment will amount to 700,000 euros," stated Virgil Ivan, general manager of Synevo Romania. Currently, Synevo operates several facilities, both in Bucharest and the provinces, and the company plans to also include partnerships with the public health care system. "In 2007, Synevo will not give up the idea of investing in the public system, even though, unfortunately, the legislative framework does not favour extensive, long-term undertakings," said Virgil Ivan. He specified Synevo is the only lab network which took over six hospital labs by means of outsourcing, with the remaining four being in independent facilities.
