He said that today too many offshore projects failed and many others would blatantly ignore employees concerns. He said that offshore outsourcing should be made economically and socially sustainable.
Addressing over 150 participants of the ICT industry, EU Commission, trade associations, science, research and universities and (very few) trade unionists, Rohde said that offshore outsourcing was not just a management fashion, rather it had to be seen as a feature of globalisation and was here to stay.
