Trade Assistant Secretary Fe Agoncillo-Reyes said that the government is helping companies in sending a mission to the region. The mission will include a business forum, business meetings with potential clients, and high-level networking reception.
“The Philippines will adopt a country-by-country strategy that will fit the service requirements of each (market),” said Reyes, who is also executive director of the trade department’s Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions.
Citing data from PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Reyes said that the United Kingdom is still Europe’s dominant market. But she added that outsourcing is gaining ground in Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and France.
