Despite the fact that the Romanian market of call center services numbers at present relatively few participants, both providers and clients, it will double by the next year. Some 15,000 Romanians work in call centres in the country for over 200 international companies, ACT Media news agency reports.
"Romania brings on the international outsourcing market the qualitative advantages resulted from staff training and the big variety of foreign languages spoken fluently in our country," says the official of a relevant company, quoted by Economistul daily.
He added that the country's belonging to Europe from a cultural viewpoint and the low level of costs represent Romania's significant advantages versus the traditional locations for outsourcing.
At the same time, Romania's EU entry will emphasize the importance of outsourcing services that Romania can offer to companies active in Europe, the official concluded.
