Expomedia and Euristic Partner have organized for the second time the Call Center and Customer Care Expo, intended to promote the development of call centers in Romania and offer solutions for those already operating
"Although at present the Romanian market of call center services has few participants, suppliers and clients, its dimensions should double by 2007," said the general director of Euristic Partner, Razvan Marinescu. The event was held because of the interest foreign companies, concerned about ensuring proper management structures for their call centers, have shown in this sector of the Romanian market. Marinescu said that call-center activities, which appeared in Romania about seven to eight years ago, have exploded in the last two years. "Romania brings to the international outsourcing market quality and suitable personnel, as well as a variety of foreign languages that are fluently spoken here," said Marinescu. No study has been made on how many call centers exist in Romania, but primary estimates suggest that approximately 200 micro call-centers are active in Romania.
